I wanted to let you know that early voting has begun in the special primary election for Florida's congressional district. Rather than wait until Tuesday, February 2nd, you can vote early at one of the libraries listed below from today until Sunday, January 31st.
Going into this election, I am honored to have the endorsement of the Voter's Coalition, the Police Benevolent Association, the Alliance for Retired Americans, the Florida Professional Firefighters, the AFL-CIO, the National Association of Realtors, and many other local organizations. I am also thrilled to have a team of more than 400 "Team Ted," volunteers, who have attended countless community events with me and made thousands of phone calls.
Starting today, you can help drive even more momentum behind our campaign by getting out and voting early - and bringing along a friend, coworker, or family member.
I am asking for your vote because so much is at stake in this election. These past few months, I have talked to thousands of voters, and their stories have made me even more committed to winning this race. They are seniors who have worked hard their entire lives, only to be saddled now with debilitating prescription drug bills from the Medicare donut hole. They are honest families who owe more to their mortgage lenders than their homes are now actually worth. They are men and women of all ages who have found themselves out of work and without health care coverage in a dismal economic climate.
These men and women and their families deserve a voice in Congress who will stand up to special interests and deliver real results on behalf of our community. I am running for Congress to be this voice, and I will wake up every morning remembering the people who gave me the chance to fight for them in Washington.
