Event to also Serve as Food Drive for South Florida Homeless

This Friday, December 4th, at 3:30 pm
, the Ted Deutch for Congress Campaign will hold an official kick-off at the South County Civic Center. The event is open to the public and will provide attendees with the opportunity to volunteer for the campaign, enjoy live music and free refreshments, and meet Ted. The event will also serve as a food drive for homeless Floridians and the campaign is requesting attendees to kindly donate non-perishable canned food items.

Senator Deutch, as well as other elected officials, will make public remarks and be available for interviews.

"Since launching this campaign, I have talked with thousands of voters about the issues that matter to them most," said Senator Deutch. "If I am privileged enough to win this election, I know I will wake up every day thinking about how to deliver results on our economy that create the jobs that South Florida needs. During the past few weeks, hundreds of people have approached me interested in volunteering, and I have been genuinely overwhelmed by all the excitement for my campaign. This truly is a team effort, and I cannot wait to meet more of the South Florida community at the campaign kickoff."
